Christmas in the City: Week Two

If you’re looking for something fun + festive to do this weekend…look not further. WinterFest at Penn’s Landing is the perfect place to start your night off with food and drinks and then end it ice skating! Pro Tip: Franklin Fountain has it’s own cabin on-site, so make sure you save room for dessert (it’s never too cold for ice cream, right?)!

Christmas Village At Love Park

PSA: Love Park has been under construction for a few months now, but it finally opened just in time for some shopping in Center City. Sip on some mulled wine while browsing the small shops for perfect gifts for people you still have left to buy for on your list.

Christmas in the City: Week One

Guys I LOVE the holidays in Philadelphia…there’s so much to do with family and friends! I’ll be covering festive weekend activities on the blog every Friday in December (can’t believe we’ve already made it the end of 2017)!

Check out what I’ll be doing this weekend!

Aerie Holiday Pop-Up Tour

Where: Dilworth Park

When: Saturday, 12/2 from 11AM-9PM

Why: The holiday pop-up tour gives back. At every stop, Aerie will donate 50% of ALL sales to a local charity. In Philly, 50% of all sales will go to Women Against Abuse, non-profit that provides compassionate services for people in need & leads advocacy & education efforts to help end domestic violence. Donate $5 of your own to Women Against Abuse & get crafty with a DIY Dream Pillow, or be one of the first 50 people on Saturday & the donation is on us! Find gifts for every girl in the shop with our latest holiday collection, from cozy sweatshirts & PJ sets to pom-TASTIC presents.

Plus, I’ll be there to help you shop all of the below looks + more!

This year, velvet is HUGE…it’s everywhere and the best part about it?  It’s COMFORTABLE! Highly encourage you to throw a velvet piece in your Thanksgiving dinner outfit whether it’s a dress, skirt or top, it’s going to look perfect.

Thanksgiving Style: For the Football Game

For me, Thanksgiving means three things: family, football and food (okay, okay and wine).  I can’t wait to be home to continue long-time traditions and spend some time with loved ones!  What are your holiday plans!?

This week, I’ll be sharing some outfit inspo for all three aspects of celebrating + some KILLER Black Friday sales….stay tuned!  For now, check out my outfit inspo for the football part of Thanksgiving.

I like to tailgate in over-sized layers for two reasons: one, you never know how cold it’s going to be or two, after a few mimosas you may be feeling warm so layers allow you to add or remove so that you feel most comfortable.
